Arηs is an official sponsor of the Beyond Limits 2009 expedition

The ‘Beyond Limits’ ICTExpedition is a unique initiative that brings together more than 20 Belux IT professionals, CIOs, IT managers, suppliers and other professionals in a pleasant and relaxed relational event taking place in June 2009.
‘Beyond Limits’ 2009 will take the team to the Wrangell Mountains in Alaska.
The almost entirely volcanic mountains include the 2nd and 3rd highest volcanoes of the United States. The expedition will land on the eastern extremity of the Nabesna Glacier, around 5000 to 6000 ft, and ski/snowshoe up the glaciated northern side of Mount Regal, establishing camps, till the intersection with the northeast ridge around 3.658m. Crampons and ice axes replace skis/snowshoes and the climbing begins. The summit (4.220m) is famous with a fabulous view on the Wrangell Mountains. The climb is considered to be technical, because of the ice equipment needed, and because of its significant height. The participants will be struck by this impressive glacier.

The objectives of this event are:

Bringing together the ‘beau monde’ of the ICT world in an informal setting during a large
networking event creating lifetime friendships;
Generating visibility inside and outside the ICT sector with an ambitious and professional
organization that is keeping up with the demanding profile of the target group;
Supporting a charity project, i.e. the humanitarian campaign that is part of the expedition.
