Arηs enters SAP service provision with contract award of DG BUDGET

DG BUDGET has awarded a framework contract for the provision of IT assistance for financial management systems to the consortium of Arηs Developments and Ordina. Arηs Developments, as the leader of the consortium, enters through this contract in the market of SAP service provision, allowing to build top SAP competences within the group.

This framework contract covers the provision of on- and off-site information technology assistance for financial management systems mainly based on SAP ERP, Business Objects, Oracle Database and Weblogic. The services cover the different types of activities related to an information project, including architecture (SOA), analysis, development/maintenance, system administration and security. The services can also be used by other Directorate-Generals and Services of the European Commission.

This framework contract has an estimated volume of 30 Mio € for a duration of 4 years.

Arηs Cube awarded at The Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg

In March 2011, The Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg (www.chd.lu) awarded a fixed-price project to Arηs to be realised within 12 months.

This project aims at delivering a global solution for managing the complete lifecycle of documents issued by European Institutions that need to be analysed by the Luxembourg's authorities and possibly transposed into local laws.

Arηs Cube awarded at Publication Office for the four-year Framework Contract 10340 LOT 3

At the end of August 2011, the Publications Office of the European Union awarded the four-year Framework Contract n°10340 Lot 3 "The production and reception chains" to Arηs Cube.

One of the main purposes of this 1.6 million EUR contract is to maintain these chains and give user support based on a Service Level Agreement. Moreover, the contract also includes studies and functional analysis, technical analysis, developments, testing, documentation, integration, training and possible technical or functional migration including data migration.

eCDF – Lodging annual accounts electronically in Luxembourg

As announced in the press, begin of 2012 companies in Luxembourg will be requested to lodge electronically their annual accounts. Arηs is proud to have been involved in this major national initiative by developing the central platform for electronic gathering of financial data (www.eCDF.lu).

Arηs Developments awarded at European Investment Bank!

EIB awarded to Arhs the assistance in the maintenance, support, development and implementation of packages and specific information systems, for EIB-specific in-house applications. The contract has been signed for two initial years and may be extended for further two years.

This new contract will re-inforce the leadership of Arhs in the Luxembourgish market and in the Open Source developments in general.

Arηs has been awarded for the development of the NewSoftAKCT project at the GOCA in Belgium.

The GOCA is the "Groupement des Entreprises agréées de Contrôle Automobile et du Permis de Conduire Belge".

The aim of NewSoftAKCT is the complete renewal of the information system for the technical inspection in all stations (76, distributed in the country).

The system is foreseen to be in production in January 2013. Java and Open Source software will be the backbone of the technologies used.

Arηs Developments has been awarded four major framework contracts by the European Commission in the framework of the ESP-DESIS II call for tenders (External Service Provision for Development, Studies and Support for Information Systems).

Arηs Developments, as part of the Panoplis consortia, has been awarded as first contractor in the cascade for lots 1A, 1B and 1C.
